06/02/2012 - Clariti 1 Day Toric Contact Lenses Nottingham
Kings Walk Contact Lenses Nottingham announce the launch of Clariti 1 Day Toric, the first silicone hydrogel daily disposable toric contact lens available.
This premiere contact lens follows the launch in 2009 of thew silicone hydogel daily disposable lens, Clariti 1 Day.
Clariti 1 Day allows opticians to upgrade their patients from old styles of contact lenses, thus giving them longer wearing times plus giving extra comfort and reduced red eye problems.
As with Clariti 1 Day, Clariti 1 day torics uses Sauflon's special process AquaGen which gives a highly wettable lens surface and with the low water content giving extra comfort while wear.
Clariti 1 Day Toric is available in minus powers from Plano to -6.00 in -0.25 steps and -6.50 to -8.00 in -0.50 steps. A choice of 2 cylinder powers -0.75 and -1.25 are available at 20 70 90 110 160 and 180

Saphir Multifocal Toric lenses are now available at Kings Walk Contact Lenses Nottingham. Saphir Rx mothly varifocal toric is a silicone hydrogel contact lens used to correct astigmatism and presbyopia.
40 % of the UK population are presbyopic(reduction in close vision after 45 years) accounting for 25 million people requiring a varifocal prescription. Saphir multifocal toric lens is a tailor made silicone hydrogel varifocal lens based on a simultaneous vision system designed with centre distance and centre near designes.
The silicone hydrogel material gives improved comfort and vision. The material is excellent at staying wet all day with only 2% dehydration of the lens during the day. Due to not drying the vision stays crisp for much longer compared to only lens materials.
